I don't think that I've ever known it
Maybe cause I was never shown it
Is it a fluttery feeling
Does it come from a sexual healing
Does it pick on only the rich
Those who can afford Abercrombie and Fitch
Or does it ever settle for less
Those whose lives are a complete mess
Always wanting
And never having
Getting it the "wrong way"
Is always a bad thing
Maybe it comes in that little jewellery box
You know the one under the wrist held clocks
Well yes if you give that to me
I'll surely love you
But when the silver tarnishes
What am I left to do
This love was built on a material lust
Never once had we mentioned trust
The heavy necklaces overcrowding my bust
They seemed to give me such a crazy rush
But the chains have withered away
I'm not sure how to say
The words I feel inside myself
Not for you but the outer wealth
So I'll say it again
Lets not pretend
That we know what it means
Lets make our own scenes
Not following the norm
Or any specific form
Lets lust each others embrace
And the love will fall in place
