Lost in Solitude

Darkness creeps in from every corner.

Gnawing into your soul.

Fear of the world around you,

You lock yourself away from society.

Away from those eyes.

Away from your misfortunes.

Happiness drained from within you.

A wave of sadness shakes your body.

You stay within those four walls,

Knowing you can't continue without your loved ones.

You want to start anew,

But fear imprisons you,

Chaining you into those burnt walls.

It encloses you,

And destroys the person you once were.

Suddenly,

Your body blazes with pain

And the pain is gone.
