Looks Deceive

Location

German decent, eyes sky blue

Pretty I am but that's not all you see,

There is a darker side, it is true.

But the darkness made me.

Abuse made the scars,

Abuse made the strength

I can reach the stars

I can go any length.

Survival and smarts, forget the pretty outside

Biology is my passion, and I was made to thrive.

Abuse gave me more than a pep to my stride,

It made me have drive.

Be kind to people, don't use words of hate,

Be sweet to people, you can't see their soul.

Try your best, because you are worth more than the words you ate,

More than hits that do take their toll.

Now I know I am worthy, lovely, flawless and smart.

Looks do deceive, but that's life.

I will walk with a head high despite a life that was so tart,

Because I am alive against all strife.

Life is good despite the past,

And I love me for me, that's all is ever asked.

Not really sure what tone you will read this in, and I have no clue what type of poem it is; just my own style. It is me though and I hope it bring you something.
