The Lonely Paintbrush

Location

To your smooth shining surface

To your razor sharp edge

You are my sinister brush

For this hurting canvas

Sadly holding you tightly

Gliding you across the delicate surface

Staining it with a dark and haunting red

leaving a deep and endless impression

Carefully making the mark

that will hold such great emotion

Do you love being the cause of pain?

Do you enjoy being the cause of death?

Seemingly ending one's life

only leaving their unforgettable marks

Not even thinking that we could stop

Should we even try to stop?

This silver brush

Longing to feel important

This lonely brush

is just like us

Hoping for a meaning

but finding it in all the wrong ways
