Living with Depression

Sat, 04/09/2016 - 17:17 -- gibanez

I cannot live without darkness.
I know what you're going to say,
"Why would you keep it if you could get rid of it."
And I'll tell you

If I didn't have darkness inside me
I wouldn't have me.
I don't know what's it like to not have it.
It follows me around like a restrain.
And even when I cry in pain from the bruises it give me
I know I wouldn't ask for it off

It has been the only thing that has stuck by me.
It saddens me to say I couldn't live without it.
