Lighthouse

Stand tall and strong, don't waver

Though life will take its toll,

Shine bright for those lost in the storm,

A beacon to guide them home,

Shaken and smacked by wind and wave

Stay strong, rooted to your base,

The waters will try to drown

But, they will never tear you down

Never sway, be true, be you.

One of my favorite things in the world are lighthouses. I get a sense of patience and hope

when i see them along the coast.

This poem can be taken in so many ways-figuratively or literally.

I enjoy the tone of content, bliss, and prosperous sentiment-it all makes sense when one looks

at something with great purity and probity. thank you for this piece of enlightenment.

best,

Rojas
