I've been told that the speed of light is so much faster than sound to the point where we see lightning before we hear that big boom that follows from the flashing light of Zeus’ power.

When I see you, I’m struck by your beauty which is then followed by the words to come out of my mouth, “Whoa.”

And I say “Whoa" because I'm blinded by the light of your beauty so any other word wouldn’t help describe you.

“Whoa” wraps up all the unused words used to tell on how I see you and what I think of you.

I think of you as a mystery.

So to the mysteries left unsolved, you're one that I'm very fond of discovering so that the next time I see you, my “Whoa’s” will be turned into my many answered questions on light and sound.

And although light is faster than sound, I'd love to hear your opinions on it before I just look at you and fall in love with sight rather than what you say.
