Light

Location

I would that the sun were silver-gray

Shining like a moon in day

For then the day would be fair night

All the better to see your light

Your glow would be a warmer hue

No yellow star could outshine you

Galaxies would pale in shame

At your rarified brilliant flame

Through the wide encompassing night

On this fragile little rock we ride

The ground shivers, but I have no fright

With only your light by my side
