Life is quite tough

Though we are enough

To keep on going straight through

When you sit down and wonder

What’s up there but thunder

Well, you see the great blanket, the sky.

It’s deep and it’s blue

But sometimes we lose

All that to a darkness up high

And though we can’t see

The night soon will be

Gone, forever, in the blink of an eye.
