Is life a thing in which we are to do?

Or instead something which we are to make?

Alone are we to try to make things new?

To try and walk this world so smooth no quake.

Taught in school you will need this and that,

In life the things we need we do not learn,

We learn this random fact or random stat,

Yet in the real world we are left to burn.

A house, a car, these things we need to buy,

A family and kids we have to support,

These things in life sometimes will make us cry,

This stress can make our lives end up so short.
