Liberty

They argue. They bicker.

Inside we snicker.

To hear them spout what is best for our country when they don't even understand it.

They have their money.

They have their fame.

But all they do is point and blame -

They don't get it. They don't want to.

They want power and influence on Youtube.

Who is they?     Don't worry it's just pluralism!

We are a world of thems and theys.

It is how we speak, what do you expect to change?

America is a melting pot?

No, we're a salad!

No matter what you do,

No matter who's in power

No matter who comes to join the garden of flowers

We won't be able to come together.

Individuality.

Personality.

Problems.

Polution.

Where is the solution?

You want freedom. You want choice.

You want government to help you -

then you say stay away -

Then you say where were they?

Make up your mind. It's not that hard.

Oh, you have a green card?

My mistake. I apologize. Please forgive me. I was wrong. Sorry, Sorry, Sorry.

We are a nation of apologies.

No one says anything right.

Political correctness is the game.

Maybe it will take our sins away.

Who am I anyway? Why should I talk?

I am privileged. I am blessed.

I have a roof over my head and trees lining the sidewalk.

But don't I love my country enough to digress?

Point out the problems?

Show the hypocrisy?

We can't even speak without being a bully

Politicians can't have opinions.

They can't even stand for what they belive in.

Why do we hate them if they can't even help us?

They're so caught up in their own muck.

They lie and say what we want to hear

But then we call for them to step down for making us fear

They clammer up the latter to get to the top

Those who bow out should get more recognition

But we don't even know their positions

Can we try to pay attention to our history?

It's yours, mine and ours.

We should be community.

We can't expect anything to change.

Time will run out.

We will slowly become worse

And Noah's Ark will make a come back.

Though as I am a part of this country,

I must stand here and cry, Liberty!
