Leviathan The Girl
You cannot quell me
I am a one-man revolution
Built like a scorpion,
Indestructable--
You can freeze me
But I'll eventually
Come to,
Breaking free from the ice in a frigid
Frenzy,
Thirsting
For destruction--
You can blast me,
Set me aflame in a turgid storm of
Splitting atoms,
Nuclear Fission,
But like a phoenix I will rise from the permanent shadows of
Now-dead children,
Screaming for revenge.
You cannot break me, so many times broken that the pieces each and every know their place,
Emblazoned memory,
Ancestral cells
Powering every motion back to shore because you can
Hit me
And I will
Laugh
Because the pain is nothing in comparison to what I've felt before--
Every moment of every day and every second of the minutes I waste on slime like you.
You cannot kill me
Because I have been flame-hardened in the
Forge of Unmaking,
Crafted from the fires of hardship and
Adversity,
Veins shot through with
Infection and
Bile,
Diseases
Designed to
Do harm
But only succeeding in forcing me to survive or
Die
And a Coates cannot lie still until the
Dust has Died,
Until the
Universe has broken down, the molecules just
Ghosts
Of the machines they once
Dared
To power,
So we remain,
Immortal in our
RAGE,
Hotter than the Blood
Coursing in our
Starfire-eyes
And the
STEAM
Projectile-vomited from our
Bilious Throats.
Our tongues are knives and our
Minds
Are swords,
Mightier than your
Impotent pens
Because OUR pens
Glint with the light of a thousand underworld suns that never saw the dark of
Day before,
Consuming your world in the time it takes you to
BLINK
For the
FirstLastOnly time
So you cannot
BEAT me I am
FEROCIOUS We Are
LEGION
And the ice you pick apart will release my
Young
And in the fetid blast of purple inken darkness you will not
SCREAM
Because
LEVIATHAN is not a myth and not a man and not a monster,
He is a
FORCE
Moving through the packed-tight densities of a girl who has been
MurderedSetFreeSwallowedWhole by worlds she only fathoms in the visceral
Caverns of her
Zephyrous ken,
Her ka a streaming whirlwind sent forth from Gods on high to cleanse a world bereft of sense,
Her nimble scythe clearing
Realms
Of their refuse in single deft swipes that leave an audible shine behind,
Ringing out like deep canyon car alarms and echoing into infinity--
Call me Leviathan, then, call me Satan, Lord, Angel, Demon--
Call me Death incarnate for that Is Not Dead Which Can Eternal Lie and I
Stand steady on the ledge knowing
DEATH
CAN NEVER DIE!
You can try to demolish what you don't understand,
Tear me apart and desecrate the corpse,
But you cannot destroy a scorpion,
Indestructable,
Or quell the one-man revolution that
I AM!
You cannot best me;
I am unstoppable,
So lay down your arms before I raise up mine!
Put down your weapons or force my demise!
I'll only be stronger when like a
Phoenix I
Rise.
