Letters in a pattern

24 letters the alphabet counts,

Millions of words we learn to pronounce.

We write with for a reason,

It sets the soul free.

We write without reason,

It sets the soul free.

Writing has no rules,

But teachers guide one,

And give them different tools

To perfect the rhymes we write on the page.

We have been taught to write at a very young age,

Young, old it has no matter,

You are given the letters to create new words.

Hundreds of patterns,

The letters can be arranged,

And day-by-day the patterns change.

The more we write the more we learn.

I write because it sets me free,

it lets you be you.

No rhyme no reason to what I can write,

It serves me a purpose.

No matter what kind of writing

in the end it's just letters in a pattern.
