Lets be clear

Lets be clear

I'm 17 years old

You want me to act like an adult

Yet I'm treated like a child

You want me to decide on what college I'm going to

Yet I can't make the decision not to get dragged along with you anywhere you go

Lets be clear

Just because you hold an Ideal means it's the truth

but the moment someone challeges you view

they are wrong

Yet when you do the same thing to others

you're Still correct

Lets be clear

Living a happy life

free of religious bounds

Leads to eternal damnation

Yet being miserable with a diety by your side is

the narrow path

Lets be clear

I'm going to live my life my way

So don't tell me

"momma and daddy know best "
