Let Me Sleep

How do you sleep with so much in your head

like a train circulating a mountain, full speed

it's hard for you to go to bed

like a victim fighting to be freed

my mind gives me no peace

he lays there so calm, he can not hear the chaos inside me

he breaths in and out like a bear in hibernation

I am awake like the owl at night, wide eyes and darkness surrounding

when I close my eyes my mind is still awake

I am not alone the moon and the stars guide me

darkness begins to disappear, the train trembles to pieces

my head floods with water

i am evaporating into a cloud, perfectly cradling my body

eyes are shut, water flushed the thoughts

earth twirled and another day has begun

when I saw the sun
