Let me have my Freedom

No! Why? Don't do that!

Don't make me take off my nail polish.

Don't make me take off my ankle socks.

Don't dictate what shoes I can wear.

Why should we tuck in our shirts?

Do our shirt-tails really matter?

Don't make us remove our bracelets, earrings, necklaces and hair ties.

Don't punish us for following trends.

When you take away our freedoms, are we nothing more than slaves?

Don't bind our hands and arms behind us.

Don't tie our feet.

Don't push us on our knees.

Don't blindfold us.

Don't silence our mouths.

Let us be teenagers!

Let us be free!
