Let Him Stay

Please come home.

You weren't meant to leave, not just yet.

It's been nearly 10 years since you were taken and I miss you each day.

The darkness that fills your body now shouldn't be there.

It should be filled with light, joy, and love just as you did.

You were the glue that held this family together.

Even with you so long gone, I feel you here all the time.

I wish you were here.

Maybe things would be better.

Mom says that Daddy will surely be there to visit you soon.

I want to keep him here though.

I know he's sick and still drinking and I'm still mad at him, but

Please,

Let him stay.
