Lessons seldom learned

Psalm 78:2 New English Translation (NET Bible)

I will sing a song that imparts wisdom;
I will make insightful observations about the past.

The song that seems a memory ...

We will never payback mankind for the lessons they teach us

Appearing through vague history lessons we’ve seldom learned.

Things that we have tried before and we are still engaging.

Life seems like a potpourri that we never earned

with prices paid to the core by the poor entrained in ageless.

Searching for a free ride and while turning on a dime

The one we took from others in the search for happiness.

Oh! How hard we tried to cover it just short of a crime

as we always seem to manipulate their freedom in Christ.

Having our entire luggage packed for our flight to nowhere.

Offer others to come along with us, if they pay for our way.

Not caring or they feel sacked for all have to be somewhere

and as the day is done we all look for somewhere to stay.
