Lessons seldom learned

Proverbs 2:3-5

Yes, if you cry out for discernment,
And lift up your voice for understanding,
4 If you seek her as silver,
And search for her as for hidden treasures;
5 Then you will understand the fear of the Lord,
And find the knowledge of God.

Will we ever payback mankind for the lessons they teach us?

Appearing through vague history ... lessons we’ve seldom learned.

Things that we have tried before ... and we are still engaging.

Life seems like a potpourri ... that we never earned

with prices paid to the core ... by the poor entrained in ageless.

Searching for a free ride ... turning on a dime

that we took from others in the search for happiness.

Oh! How hard we tried ... just short of a crime

as we always seem to bother ... their freedom in Christ.

Having our entire luggage packed ... for our flight to nowhere.

Offer others to come along ... if they pay for my way.

Never feeling sacked ... for all have to be somewhere

and as the day is done ... we have somewhere to stay.
