Lawless (in response to Tupac Shakur's "The Rose That grew From Concrete")

Location

Shoutout to the rose that grew from concrete.

Tupac, you saw inside of me---

a little girl gone too deep

determined not to submerge herself in the surrounding streets.

She lent her hand to the next lost man,

out of the goodness of her heart that only beats the just law of the land.

For what is right does not always come easy.

"Easy-peasy, lemon-squeezy"?

Nah, that's something that oly existed when we were kids.

This day in age it's strive to keep dreams alive

that way no one can take that breath of promise from the depths of pride

that resides

Just beneath the concrete from which the rose thrives.

Shoutout to the rose that grew from concrete.

Now let's make a bouquet and put our ambitions in drive.
