Laugh Repressed

We hardly laugh.

Do you remember your laugh?

I love to hear children laugh free.

We have it covered;

Our real laughts are covered,

But the laughs of the young are free.

We laugh at what they say is funny,

We laugh to make people feel they're funny,

But only a child's laugh is free.

We tweak it,

And change it,

To make it more seemly- Our laughs are no longer free.

If you hardly laugh, laugh hard.

If you snort and breathe fire, snort hard.

Let your laugh be free.
