Keep Spinning

Keep Spinning

Life is a broken Merry Go ‘Round,

Continuously whirling in blurry rotations

Existence comes to a lull as if there is no sound,

It is a lot like life on those cracking, plastic horses

Ongoing commotion and busy, blustering occurrences,

Wondering if the melodies will fade away

Considering if the orbit will slow or sway,

All of this bemusement makes my head pound

I feel as though I am being drowned,

Demolishing the sound barrier today

Escaping the circular motion, I may,

Lights softly dazzle into the auburn skies

And I realize…

That broken and bewildered Merry Go ‘Round will screech and halt but life   will keep spinning.
