Knowledge is something

To be obtained with a price

For some it's quite easy

Other's just can't get it right

Some want to finish with honors

For others 'just ok' is enough

I'm feelin' from some the hate

Those who just want to straight up graduate

High flyers want to be set free

The struggling just want help to see

We're trapped between these walls for a diploma

But you know the real world isn't even like this, don't ya?

We ALL are caught in this tornado

Does the system, and you, really want us to succeed?

From the coast of Washington to Orlando

We're just cramming for a grade, and it makes my heart bleed

Cramming for that midterm test

Cramming to be the final's best

There's no learning to be had here

Just an empty grade, but you could change that, so why can't you see?
