Just High School Love

Location

The lonely feeling trickles throiug my mind,

Solemly, I begin to climb

Into your jacket, stained with your smell

Praying you are doing well

I sit in silence, curled in a ball

my heart begs for just one call

from the one whose presence I crave

reminding myself to be brave

I nuzzle your jacket so very tight

Imagining our last kiss goodnight

With that image, I begin to find peace

or fragments of it at the very least

spinning thougts twist into dreams

My solitude is ripped at its seems

Your hand reasssuringly clasps ny own

and suddenly I am not so alone.
