Just Enough

One day when your cold chains no longer bind me, I will soar away and be liberated. One day I will be just reckless enough to fall, just morose enough to break,  just absent minded enough to run, and just horrified enough to scream.  One day will come and that day will be my last.  Just know you did not do enough.  Just know you demolished what was already cracking.  Just know you scared what was already petrified.  Know it well, I lost hope the second your invigorated grip bruised my arm. Being bound by you all those years has corrupted my bliss.  What has become of an empty soul that has been so cruelly chained up? You know very well, because you did just enough to create it.
