Just Being With You

Being with you was different

      Your affection towards me

Always shown like it was the first

      Your eyes never leaving me

      Not for a second

      As if I'd disappear

Being with you was different

The way you begged for my words

Like my thoughts and chaos were important

My voice playing in your head

      Like a song on repeat

Always there and making you smile

Being with you was different

Our hands and lips fitting together perfectly

Never wanting to leave or say goodbye

      Your touch like lightning

Sending chills down my spine but the good kind

The kind that kept you alive

Being with you was different

It was the best kind of different

The type that made people stare and wish

That they had the kind of different we had

The kind that is unconditional and breathtaking

      The kind called love
