So much has happened in my high school years.
Some good, some bad, and even some tears.

Things changed so fast that my head started spinning
And then I realized it was just the beginning.

Times that I felt like I wanted to quit.
Sitting through lectures and not remembering one bit.

Times that I wished I could just be lazy.
Two years of driving my counselor crazy.

Praying for ways to get through the stress.
Hoping that soon my workload would be less.

In moments like this I buckle down and believe,
In myself, in my work, and in goals I hope to achieve.

I am leaving high school full of ambition,
And I plan to make all my dreams come to fruition.

It took much time and effort to build up my knowledge.
It was hard. I fought through it. Now I’m headed to college!

Things will change so fast that my head will start spinning,
But I am happy to conquer this new beginning.
