It’s so much easier to hurt,
To lie down and chip away at the beauty of this Earth.
No one ever smiles at the pain,
Not realizing what they could truly gain,
Not seeing that a smile can bring out their self worth.
Because in this life its so much easier to hurt.

Its so much easier to say yes
To promise others your absolute best
No one ever says no
In fear that others with go
Not realizing its all just a dignity test
Because at our age its so much easier to say yes

Its so much easier to die
To lie back and close your eyes
No one ever wants to live
Wishing days away like there are plenty to give
Not realizing any day could be a goodbye
Because we live with people don’t cherish life
