It's my fault,
I wasn't there,
To hear her cry,
"Help me, please help me",
It's my fault,
I wasn't there,
To pick up the broken pieces,
Hey body's broken,
He did it to her,
She didn't want to be broken,
But she was picked up,
And knocked down.
It's my fault,
I wasn't there,
To show her it was gonna be alright,
That she won't have to go through this again,
That it wasn't her fault,
And it was his decision.
It's my fault,
And sorry won't cut it,
I wasn't there,
To love her,
To guide her,
To protect her,
To show her that her dreams can be put back together,
I'm sorry baby,
I'm so, so, so very sorry,
It shouldn't have happened to you,
The worst experience any girl can see,
Life isn't over,
Begin a new road,
New attitude,
New you,
I wish I could stop it,
And I can only feel,
That it's my fault....
