Poetry is more than elaborate word play and a mad flow 

More than hearts ripped off of sleeves and transfered to paper

It is more than fear and fantasy 

Insecurity and heartbreak

Happiness and sorrow

It's making trees divulge the thoughts your hands 

gave birth to as your mind concieved them
