interracial haters

People like me and you need to stick together

I assure you the hate we get ain’t getting better

Making a child is normal between a man and a woman

The child and its parents are all considered human

But a biracial child is born, you want to call it inhumane

The interracial couple, the ones you’ve called insane.

Love knows no race, but you seem to disagree

Instead all of y’all keep on telling people like me…

“People belong with their own kind, that’s the way it’s meant to be”

Look at you, a disgrace to this whole community

Tryna control us, telling us who we are, who we are supposed to be.

You sure look happy on your throne of discrimination

Don’t tell me why cause I don’t need no explanation

Our choices are not for you to decide

The hate you give won’t make us run and hide

We have done that for far too long

We already know you are completely wrong.

You tried to silence interracial couples for many years

You brought those couples so much pain and tears

Our choices are hated, our love is judged and discriminated

Still people will say that there’s no more hatred

They are just blind and themselves are the haters.
