I'm flawless because I'm on honest with myself

I know what I feel and what its like to be felt

I know that my big eyes are odd and piercing.

I know that even though I'm short, my demeanor is menacing

I know that my hair is big and my body 's skinny

I'm flawless because I laugh

At myself, at my friends, at my turns and my bends

I know that I'm a bit odd

I know that my idea of love is idealistic

I love the fantasy of books rather than being realistic.

I'm flawless because I learned to love myself in an unloving world

When I had my doubts and all my emotions swirled

That even though 'they' say love yourself to a degree

I love that I don't depend on anyone to tell me who to be.

I'm flawless because I know that I am flawed.
