Incomplete

Barren.

wasteland.

Hollow and cold.

blue and violet.

The colors of my soul.

Skipping.

Missing.

Scattered apart.

Slow like and silent.

like the beats of this heart.

What are hours without minutes?

What are clouds without the rain?

It’s like slow dancing all by myself.

Without you it’s not the same.

Every day is drawn together

Nothing’s special, grand, or sweet.

It’s like all of life’s unfinished things.

Without you, I’m incomplete.

Dreary.

Faking.

Character set.

I’m not really happy.

You just haven’t noticed yet.

Counting.

wasting?

Clock ticking down.

I tell myself I’m here

for when you come around.

What is spring without the flowers?

What are fires without flames?

It’s like dinner for 2 without a date.

Without you it’s not the same.

Everyday is drawn together

Nothing’s special, grand, or sweet.

It’s like all of life’s unfinished things.

Without you, I’m incomplete.

Oh I could do this all alone

Pick out a movie, place, or seat.

but when it comes down to who I share it with…

It’s really you. None can compete.

What are argument’s without “sorrys”?

who are people without names?

I don’t want to love somebody else,

Without you its not the same.

Everyday is drawn together

Nothing’s special, grand, or sweet.

It’s like my life is just unfinished things.

Without you, I’m incomplete.
