The world is so broad and wide
Full of the imperfection only one could define,
from the slashes here and there
 that lies up on one’s body, it’s hardly fair
Standing As reminders of each scar
being broken and shattered in the extended war.

The world is so broad and wide

while laying still, lost in time
only insecurities come to mind
to be trapped in a space
where your looks define your place

The world is so broad and wide
Full of the imperfections only one could define,
In which being judged is the norm
and bad habits start to form
leading to more judgment,
less understanding, with little to nowhere left to vent.

The world is so broad and wide
full of the imperfections only one could define,
where skin color is worth more than a person’s intellect
and only wealth provides  you with respect.
Discrimination takes its place on the front burner
leaving minorities distraught to move further.
 

The world is so broad and wide
Full of the imperfections only one could define,
yet lost in the imperfection,
its hard to find one striving to reach perfection.
Not the perfection of the world around them
but the perfection blessed upon them.
