i'm not silent anymore

they tell me to stay quiet

classy women don't speak loud

inside voices

you'll enrage the men who are proud

hoping someone would yell for me

I stayed silent

but it is inevitable

in a world so violent

but they'll twist my words

because I deserve a voice but to a certain extent

because change is wrong

and it is something we must prevent

but change is constant

when will they realize

they change just as much as I do

the only difference is they haven't opened their eyes
