Ignorance

I do not belive you they say,

As the Pope sold your soul away.

In order to bypass Hell,

Buy a ticket, sell, sell, sell.

I do not believe you they say,

As JFK was shot that day.

A mass hysteria no doubt.

Chickens and their heads without.

I do not believe you they say,

As the Nazis seized the day.

They murdered your sister and mother,

Then labored your father and brother.

I do not believe you they say,

As the Twin Towers crumbled away.

Al Qaeda's vengeful scheme

Seemed only a horror dream.

I do not believe you they say,

When ignorance has won the day.

History is lost, doomed to be repeated.

Without education, ignorance a plague untreated.
