If You Want Something Done Right

Ring ring at the start of the day.

Morning, time for me to wake.

Turning, 5 more minutes I wait.

Knock knock, get up, get ready.

Father, I was just resting.

Yawn yawn, I sit up start walking.

Busy busy, is my life.

I rely on only myself.

I get the job done right.

My mom says I forgot my text book on the shelf.

School school has me snoring.

Yet education is so important.

My dream is to ace through college.

Succeed in all auditions.

Future future, what does it hold.

End of summer, on my own.

Excited for life, ready to grow.

Ring ring at the start of the day.

Morning, time for me to wake.

Turning, 5 more minutes I wait.

Oh know I am late!

Today is an important date.

My audition will not wait.

Knock knock, on the door of the director.

I am sorry, should have been here earlier.

Sadly, I walk back through the corrider.

Easy easy, I thought was life.

I did not realize I had help.

Now, if you want something done right.

You have to do it yourself.
