If they can only see that Family is the true riches in Life.

Location

What is happiness? What defines success?

Give me money, and I will spend it to the last penny.

Give me Jewelry and I will wear it until it’s weary.

Give me a Louise, Gucci, Michael Kors, or even a Celine bag and I will rock it like I’m on the runway.

Give me a Lamborghini and I shall drive it in the name of fame and horrid riches.

Give me briefcases of money and I will blow up like there’s no tomorrow.

We all know young love fades as you mature into the real world.

You see, they tell us diamond rings, Gold Chains, Gucci bags and Louise Vuitton’s will make us happy.

The question I want to ask them is that if they have acquired these riches, then why must  they seek more ?

Success in this era is having the money, cars, and cloths, but what good of a richness have you acquired if it fades overtime.

You need to learn the value of your own treasures. You see, we all have these riches in our homes.

They are the mothers, fathers, Uncles, Aunts, brothers, Sisters, Grandparents and loved ones.

What is success when you don’t have anyone to share it with? Think about that.

When I make it big, I want my family to be by my side.

So I tell you now, the riches you look elsewhere are in your homes.

Give me a family and I will have a lifetime of unconditional love…… something that will never fade.

I loved putting my heart into this poem to make it my own.

This poem is original because it embodies the cukture of today with hip hop and success in a world where everyone wants to live the life of the rich and famous.
