If all I have is one shot

One chance to tell the world what I think,

To make my peace

To "be the change,"

So be it.

 

I will write with my heart

My pen my actions

(for they are louder than words)

My canvas the world,

and my message will be permanent 

To all who care to read.

 

"Dream!" I will cry

From the depths of my soul,

"Dream and keep dreaming

Of a better life

Of shooting for the moon

Landing in stars

 

"Dream of love

Unrequited,

Undeserved,

or even just Unusual.

 

"And after your sweet dreams my loves,

For I love every one of you, whether or not you know it,

Remember to wake up, and to act,

For your dreams, no matter how impossible,

Can only be achieved

With your eyes open.

Remember to love all you meet,

To seek the good buried deep in the pain
