If i had the chance

to change one thing

id change the way

the world thinks

we think too lightly

upon the problems

that surround us daily

dont care about them

If its not for us 

Its not important

our minds are selfish

twisted and contorted

what ever happened 

to being a friend?

when did careing

come to an end?

We cry and scream

over less pay at work

when some people are homeless

alone in the dark

They dont have a job

they dont have any food

but it doesnt cross many peoples minds 

and thats the cold truth

if we all helped a little

the change would be great

so id change all the schedules

to say save the date

Id change the hearts

of all those who dont care

and we'd help all the suffering

escape from despair
