I Used to Play

I used to play by the creek

play and play, every single day.

My brother and I would run and leap.

Run and leap the summer away.

But one summer, I no longer wanted to play.

I'd stay inside, every single day.

My brother would beg me to play,

But I stayed away.

I had gotten too old for these silly creek games.

But I used to play by the creek everyday.
