so much stuffed in three little words;

how much you mean to me

can’t be expressed, in such an overused phrase.

You’re my lover and my healer;

 my listener and my sense of reason.

I can’t imagine a day without you;

I wish our time spent together never had an end.

You’ve been there for me, when times were rough;

Your gently embrace held me together,

while your sweet smile brushed away each tear.

You made me laugh, when I felt all I could do was cry;

when I asked myself the purpose to keep living,

you gave me my reason why.

This is why,

a tiny three letter phrase, so overused,

can’t ever come close, to how much you me to me

You’re my comforter and my consoler;

my life coach and my best friend.

I can’t imagine a day without you;

I wish our time spent together never had an end.
