I Linger, I Stare

Location

I linger

I stare

I play with your hair that shines in the sherbet sky

my eyes burn yellow and orange

I've forgotten you've scorned

any notion of touching you

but i inch my fingers around your wispy wrists

You won't let me say it

I lov-

But I can hear from your breaths that you mean to say

that you would do anything

even your gasping lungs could not disagree

your gloom and your doom

only attract me to you

I see a softness inside, the pink of you

but I know i don't know you

Not yet, and i regret

But i digress,

for the rest of our lives

you shall be mine

and I yours

that is a fact
