I have to save the world

I didn’t know anything about anything until I met Him.

We met. He talked. I listened.

He always talks, but only sometimes do I listen

but I did and still do listen when He talks of love.

I didn’t know what love truly was

until He showed me

And I didn’t know I loved Him

until he showed me what it was.

I didn’t know why love was so important

until I met a grumpy old man who

had no one to complain to and

this beautiful black queen who loved sex

because her daddy never loved her.

I ponder everyday over how to love you

because like so many others

you do not know how to love yourself.

But I don’t know how to love you or the millions of others I must save.

Someday though, I’ll learn how to love like He does.
