I Have No Need

Location

I speak my mind,

I tell the truth,

I am who I am and not who you want me to be.

I’m free,

I bathe in the cold waters of reality.

I have no need to pretty up my speech,

To speak the way society tells me to.

I do what I believe is right.

I have no need for filters,

Which make everything look to good to be true.

I am the harsh reality,

The nonsense, the truth

I am the pain that invades your soul,

I am the true individual,

Out in the sea of fake and cold.

I am the wind, the sky,the rain,

They have no filter,

When they feel pain they show pain.

They have no masks, no allusions to distract,

They tell the truth.

Facts are facts.

I am the same.

No pain no gain,

I tell the truth,

I have no reasons to lie.

Nothing to hold me back,

I carry no makeup to hide the imperfects of my face.

I live in the endangered reality,

Of today’s modern days.

I have no need for objects that make us all the same,

Humans are imperfect in this imperfect game.

I have no necessity to swipe left on snapchat,

To make myself beautiful.

I have no fear, no insecurities

I don’t need no filter.

I have no need.
