I fear to dream like to fear to breathe,

Asking to much of the gods above, 

Becasue when I dream I reach it,

But sadly I can't keep it, 

Like rays that shine through a window,

On fingers that can't catch light,

I am said to be selfish and self-centered,

There are few times were I know this is true,

Like crying on a birhtday cake made with love,

But blind and only thinking of missing faces,

Or walking alone in the rain,

After saying "Oh I'm just staying home,"

I fear to dream like I fear to love,

Because there is a word that follows love,

Trust,

And its sad to say I do not trust, 

In myself, 

In others,

In the world,

But I still dream and hope and pray,

But it will change right, 

When it turns from selfiesh me to loving me,

TIll then I will fear dreams until it stops hurting me.
