I Pray and I Dream

Every Night and Everyday

That someday things can get a bit much easier.

That one day I will be able to go to college,

Without the thought of me not being accept

Because of the money, I do not have.

That I graduate from college and be happy.

That one day I will be able to support myself,

Without the thought of being laid off of work

Because of the lack of knowledge, that I could not get

Because,  I could not go to college.

That someone can rescue me

From this dark prison

This dark prison of hopeless dreams and

Unfaithful thoughts for the future.

Take me from the dark and put me in the light

Where I can succeed, instead to fall down in a deep dark pit of
