I Change-

Much is borne away into the past

Time forgiven

Regrets amend

The world changes, never rest

But what is the change that is to be?

Of all things that was and cannot be.

Me, as I shall be that change.

To better the lives of sickened days,

With a hand of aid and another to pray.

What I would give to be the change!

The days long gone, those good O' days,

Of simple error and simple rage.

Me, as I shall be that change.

To render bits of kindness with a say,

"I'm the change that I want to see"

I'll stand up for thee, and rid the ways,

Those horrid ways that only evils see.

Much is borne away into the past

Time forgiven

Regrets amend

The world changes, and I shan't rest.
