I care not.
Location
I care not what you see,
I am who I am, you ARE looking at me.
My life is mine, not yours to judge, so don't try and change me because I won't budge.
I care not what you say, when you throw hate my way.
I'll just brush it off and walk away just as long as you know that I stood proud, as you tried your hardest to bring me down.
I will walk away still loving myself, but you? I will pitty you, for you know not what its like to love yourself.

I love how clear and unabashedly self-loving this poem is, and how this is established from the very first line: "I care not what you see." This establishes the narrator as someone who will not apologize for or change his/her actions, personality, or true nature, making the narrator a very self-reliant, powerful person. In short, I feel this poem has boiled down the blueprint of a true, untainted human down to that one short phrase: "I care not what you see."
