I Believe

I believe in the human condition
That every heart and soul
Has met some inhibition
That we’ve all had our moments
When the sun disappeared
Only to find
That we had more tears
Than we ever thought we could share
But somehow we find
A word
A phrase
An unusually happy day
And it snaps us out
It turns us about
And it becomes us
We as a person
Find our missing piece
We finally see
What the world can be
And we meet its challenge
With a head on collision
Because we all have our own vision
A song to sing
A story to write
A thought to be heard
So, when you ask
What it is I believe
I have an answer
Not many can see
I believe
In the human condition
